These terms explain how booking, payment, and service work with Maid in the Ozarks LLC (\"we,\" \"us\"). By requesting a quote, approving a quote, or using our website, you (\"you,\" \"the client\") agree to them. Our full Client Service Agreement also applies once you approve your first quote.

Booking

Your appointment is booked only after you approve a quote and we confirm a date and time with you.

How to book: Request a quote through our website, by phone or text at 417-699-9160, or by email at lacey@maidintheozarks.com. Our virtual receptionist can also take your request.

What counts as a booking:

You have approved your quote.
You have saved a payment method in your client portal.
Any required deposit has been paid.
We have sent you a confirmation with your date and arrival window.

What does not count as a booking: A quote request, a voicemail, a message to our receptionist, or a date we discussed but did not confirm. These hold no spot on our schedule until the steps above are complete.

First visit: New recurring clients start with a deep clean. This brings the home to a standard we can maintain on each recurring visit.

Pricing and payment

Your card or bank account on file is charged automatically when each cleaning is finished.

\nPricing: Every client gets a written quote before the first service. Prices depend on your home's size, condition, and the services chosen. We may update your price if your home's size, condition, or requested services change, and we will tell you before we do.
\nDeposit: A deposit is required to secure your first appointment. The amount is shown on your quote.
\nHow to pay: After you approve your quote, you will be invited to a secure client portal. Save a credit card, debit card, or ACH bank account there.
\nWhen you pay: Your saved payment method is charged as soon as your cleaning is complete. You get an emailed receipt right away.
\nFailed payments: If a payment fails, we will let you know. A $15 returned payment fee may apply. Ongoing non-payment may pause your service.
\nCard security: Payments go through an industry-standard processor. Our staff never sees or stores your full card number.
\nTips: Appreciated but never required.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule at no charge. Our cleaners are scheduled just for you, so late cancellations cover their lost wages.

\nHow to cancel: Call, text, or email us anytime. Your cancellation counts only once our team confirms it.
\nLockouts: This covers no one home, no key left, a wrong door code, or anything else that keeps us out. Let us know early if access will be a problem.
Fees are charged automatically to your payment method on file.

Service agreement

The Client Service Agreement you accept with your first quote is the full set of rules for your service. Here are the main points.

Insurance and bonding: We are fully insured and bonded. Proof of coverage is available on request.

Supplies: We bring all cleaning supplies and equipment. Tell us ahead of time if you want a specific product because of allergies or sensitivities.

Satisfaction guarantee: Not happy with an area? Contact us by phone, text, or email within 24 hours of your service. We will come back the next business day to fix it at no charge. We may do a re-clean before giving any refund.

Getting your home ready:

Give us safe access at your appointment time: be home, leave a key, or share a door code. Let us know about parking rules.
Pick up clutter like shoes, toys, clothes, and mail. We are cleaners, not organizers. If a surface is more than half covered, we dust around the items.
Clear dishes from the sink and counters when you can.
Leave a trash bag in each can and a working toilet brush at each toilet.
Remove magnets and papers if you want the fridge front wiped.
Put away jewelry, cash, heirlooms, and fragile items.
Tell us about any rooms, items, or surfaces to skip before we arrive.
Keep the home at a reasonable temperature on cleaning day.

Pets: We love pets. Please keep them in a crate, a separate room, or outside while we clean if at all possible. We may stop the cleaning if a dog keeps barking at or following our team. We do not clean pet waste, litter boxes, or animal messes. Let us know about pets when you book.

Linens: We change sheets on one bed per visit at no charge. Extra beds may be added on. We cannot put on duvet covers.

What we can't do:

Clean homes where people smoke indoors. We may decline or stop service for this reason.
Fully clean a sink or drain that does not drain. Tell us about slow drains ahead of time.
Fully clean around bidet attachments. Remove them first for a more thorough clean.
Handle hoarding, extreme soiling, or remediation-level work in a standard clean. These need a special quote.

Intellectual property

The Maid in the Ozarks name, logo, website text, photos, videos, and printed materials belong to Maid in the Ozarks LLC.

You may not copy, reuse, or change them for business or public use without our written permission.
You may share links to our website and social media pages.
We may take photos of our work, like before-and-after shots of a surface. We will not share photos that show your address, family, or personal belongings without your permission.

Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to clean your home and run our business, and we never sell your information.

What we collect:

Your name, phone number, email, and service address.
Home details, like size, pets, access instructions, keys, and door codes.
Payment details, which are stored by our payment processor, not by us.
Messages, notes, and call recordings or transcripts from our phone line and virtual receptionist.
Basic website data, like pages visited, through cookies.

How we use it:

To quote, schedule, and complete your cleanings.
To send reminders, receipts, and service updates.
To answer questions and improve our service.
To send occasional emails or offers. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Who we share it with: Only the companies that help us run the business, such as our scheduling, payment, email, and phone systems. They may use it only to provide those services. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Keys and door codes: Only team members working at your home can see them. Keys are stored securely. You can change a door code or ask for your key back at any time.

Your choices: You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by contacting us. We keep some records, like payments, as long as the law requires.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The newest version will always be on our website, and we will tell current clients about major changes.

These terms follow the laws of the State of Missouri.
